charging help

I have the Sansa Fuze 4GB. I have charged and downloaded files to it from my current computer with no problems before but it seems since we installed a new security program it does not work. When I plug the device in it says it’s connected and has the rotating arrows but no lightning bolt to show that it’s charging. In my device manager on the computer itself i get the following message: Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19) I am not sure what this means. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try un-installing (not just dis-enabling) the device in Device Manager. Un-plug from the computer. Re-boot the computer. Plug in your player. Windows should recognize it as ‘new hardware’ and load the appropriate drivers for it, and hopefully solving whatever conflict or problem you previously had. :smiley:
