CD: sansa-installer.exe doesn't work?

Hi all:

I have this CD which came with the Sansa Fuze, I put it in and then it spins up. The sanasa-installer pops up but the only thing that I see is the userguide in PDF format in various languages? Is that correct? Or is the CD supposed to install some files for Windows to recognize the Fuze and allows it to transfer MP3s and photos?

Thanks. I was just a tad surprised since I expected the updater software to be installed. I went to the website and manually installed the  software.
