"Card Write Protected"

I am working with a Cannon D60, I just picked up a new 16GB Extreme Pro. When I try and used my camera with the SD card in it I get a message saying “Card Write Protected” How do I unprotect the card so that I can use the camera/card?

Please Help Thank you…

Check the toggle switch. Sometimes, it’s just set to write protected.
