According to processor activity, a process called WDMemeod is constantly running and eating a lot of %. The software was removed from my computer a while ago and the trash can has been emptied. Spotlight finds no files at all connected to WD. Still, the software runs…
I tried to reinstall the software in order to access the uninstall software. Unable to do that as is says:
“You cannot install an older version of WD Anywhere Backup on top of a newer one. If you still wish to downgrade to an earlier WD Anywhere Backup version, please uninstall the currently installed version first.”
At a loss…anyone with a suggestion? My Mac gets overheated as it is…
