I have 3 My Passport and My Passport Ultra, 2 tb drives, and so far I never had problems moving large folders (50 Gb) from one to another, or from HD to pc. I’m using a Windows 7 pc.
I just bought a new My Passport 2tb drive, and when I first connected it I got a Windows Update notice, some WD SES driver service, so I installed it. When I next plugged my drives, Windows showed the pop up notice saying “installing device driver”, even if it was one of my old drives.
From that moment, I can’t copy and paste folders, unless it’s very small and internal folders. Not even from disk to desktop. This is a real problem, because I use a lot copy and paste with large folders containing many other folders and subfolders. When i hit “paste”, simply nothing happens.
Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
