Can't access my 500 GB My Book on PC. Disk seems to be dead

I have an old My Book. Its capacity is 500 GB and it has only USB 2.0 port (No eSATA or Firewire). My PC had been shut down suddenly a couple of times. Because it is sometimes stuck and I give it a reset. I think this caused the problem. Anyway, when I connect the disk to my pc, Windows says “Found new hardware My Book bla bla” and then “Your device is ready to use”. But when I check My Computer, I can’t see My Book drive. And i cant also see it in “device manager” or in “disk management”. Sometimes the drive causes windows not to boot. Just before the windows’ logging screen, it causes a black screen. When i unplug the drive, windows goes on. I couldnt manage to access the drive so i couldnt do anything to troubleshoot. By the way, I ve tried another cable, another usb port, another pc. Then I decided to take apart that my book and i did. I’ve connected it to the pc with a normal sata cable and it caused pc to slow down at bios loading screen. It took really long to pass it. It didnt boot a couple of times. At bios’ boot menu the disk was seen as a disk without a name or drive letter or a label.  I tried to boot with that hdd and it said “boot failure bla bla”. It also didnt include any OS to boot. So it is normal that it didnt boot:) Then I’ve tried a normal boot with my internal hdd. It was also slow again but it passed the bios screen at last and booted. On windows it is same problem again. Cant see it as a drive and cant access it. Cant see it in device manager and cant see it in disk management. I need help. Is it possible to save the data in disk or recover the disk? This is really important for me:(

Run a Data Recovery app like MiniTool or File Scavenger.
