Can i change password&not loss info on hard drive

I have a 1tb my book external hard drive&use it as drag&drop.I did install it with password but now want to change password.Can i do this with out lossing all my films,pictures ect?.thanks

Yes you can, if you change the password it wont delete the files.

Thanks for your reply.How do i go about changing the password.Its just that got some realy old pictures&stuff on it&dont want to make any mistakes.Once again thank you very much for your reply.
