BUG: Folder browser worthless

I was copying new music onto the internal flash drive of the player and it just doesn’t show up at all, after copying and remove some others it finally showed up.

I don’t see any reason why the folder browser should be affected by the worthless database the player is wasting my time building up each time I copy something new.

Could you fix this?

I don’t even want the database, make it optional or something.

I didn’t pay $100 for a device with good potential but sloppy worthless firmware.

Maybe this isn’t the right player for you. This is the way it works; accept it or return it and get something more suited to the way you think it should be.

A good idea.

But this failware sure tells me to stay away from sansa and probably sandisk in the future.

This isn’t merely a matter of taste, it is obvious the firmware was done very sloppily, probably outsourced to somewhere in India where they pay so little as to make quality control worthless.

Maybe in a few years when the RockBox crew finally get around to reverse engineering this firmware it might be of some use.
