Booting up on Android via USb-C?

Hi,
Using My Passport Ultra and I’m trying to use this with my phone (Android OS) but when I connect I get: (WD) Device has been damaged and is in need of repair.
Now it suggest that I should erase and reformat I don’t want todo that so I’m simply wondering if it’s possible to boot towards the android OS or if the windows version which I believe I have is only bootable towards Windows.

And if it’s possible please do explain how.

First, you need to check whether your Android Mobile phone would be able to provide enough power to rotate the internal drive for its operation.
