Battery in sansa mp3 player

when i put it on the USB cord that goes to the computer, when i took it off the charger it was almost full, 10 minutes later it showed almost dead so i put it back on…30 minutes later i check it again expecting it to be done, it was totally dead and it shut itself off.

 Is there anything i can do i have a long trip soon and i need it.

I would leave it plugged in and leave it overnight/perhaps try the wall AC, if you have a USB AC adapter.

I’m hoping this might help, or it could be a battery issue.

Sounds like it could be a bad cable/cord.
