Backup my Recovery Partition from my laptop

I am trying to make a back up of the recovery partition of my laptop. The software will not let me select that and actually do a copy of it. Why?

in order to better help you on this matter, please share more details, like the software you are using to do this, normally a cloning software is able to do this.

Actually, we were able to figure it out.

We were using WD SmartWare software. we were able to copy the files by changing the settings from Category to File backup properties.

Problem Solved.

Thanks for getting back to me. But, I believe we solved it ourselves. I just forgot to let the community know.
