I upgraded to the '.17 firmware rev and wasn’t sure if the following is normal or a bug:
I go to the “Sport” mode, start the timer. I leave it on the screen to display the timer and the backlight never goes off. As soon as I go to any other screen, the backlight turns off at my preset time (30 sec.).
Is this normal? The owner’s manual doesn’t say the backlight is going to stay on the when the timer is running and you’re on the timer display screen. It seems to make sense but wasn’t sure if it’s a flaw in the firmware.
