Backing up dll files

I noticed that my WD backup is not backing up .dll files in my folders. I have programs inside these folders.

I see all the .pdb files but the files needed to run my programs do not get backed up. Do I have to switch to a file backup in order to get these?

Take a look at page 7 of the WD Smartware user’s manual to find out what files contentions are supported.
