When the WD Smartware utility backs files, does it back any corrupted files also?

I have an issue whereby I’m going to have to do a complete system restore. I have

everything backed-up, but I obviously don’t want the corrupted files backed up too.

Keep in mind that the smartware does a file backup, it wont backup any system files nor the OS.

I believe that it will backup the corrupted file.

I certainly was under the impression that the OS and the sytem files were being backed up as part of the C drive back-up.
