Hullo gentle and learned folks,
On my previous laptop Win 7 or 8, MyPassport would get going when I connected it and do automatically incremental backups … don’t remember how I set it up, it was immediately after I bought the external drive (2013 I believe) and it was sooo good. Went to a new laptop and upgraded to Win10 and now it doesn’t do that anymore … Downloaded from the website the WD Utilities, but they just do drive admin and security stuff not really helping with backups.
Is any of yous able to tell me what I did wrong? Is there other stuff I must install (and where d I find it) to get back to what once was (so good).

Hi, in order for you to do the automatic backup, you need to install the WD Smartware from your drive download page.
Thank you lluna … found it and installed it … it shows up on the Win10 side of the laptop;
