Any way to play 16kbps?

So I get my new mp3 player & I load it up with audiobooks & whoops! It won’t recognize 16kbps.

Is there anything I can do to get them to play? If not is there a good program that I can mass convert a few gigs worth of 16kbps up to whatever they need to be all at once?

I use adobe audition, but it only lets me upsample one file at a time… please help

You can try to use Windows Media Player 10 or higher. I believe there is a function that allows you to change the bitrate before converting to a device in the Options tab.

Actually, are you sure that’s WMA audio, and not WMA Voice?  The WMA Voice codec is slightly different and most MP3 players won’t recognize it.  I haven’t tested it on the Connect, but I’m willing to bet that’s probably the reason you’re having a hard time.
