An inquiry about WDSync.exe?

I have read WDSync.exe

But When I have followed the directions I didn’t see any such WDSync.exe in my passport.

However, I didn’t see any such a program at my registered page.

Could anyone tell me where that program is?

WDSync is a legacy software wihich used to be bundled with older versions of My Passport drives.  Your drive comes with SmartWare, this is why WDSync is not available.

But if this were true, I wouldn’t think that a far  too much older version is better than the very newest one.

Because the older one has features to synchronize files; however, I didn’t see this in the Smart Software.
