After update the Cruzer Blade won't open when I try to log in. It freezes.

I have the Cruzer Blade 32GB and have had them for a few years. I’m very happy with them. Today when logging in I got a message saying an update was available. So I let it update. After that it won’t let me log in. I click the exe file and give password and it freezes. I have 2 backups so I’m not in panic mode. But I’d like to make it work as creating another second backup is a lot of work and I’d like to avoid that if possible. I hope someone here knows what to do. Thank you for reading.

Your computer’s antivirus app(s) blocking it from running?

I don’t think so. I was able to do the backup just fine on the first one. Then when doing the second one this happened.
