Acronis True Image WD Edition - Restoring after Hardware Change

Is it possible to restore a backup file made with Acronis True Image WD Edition after making a hardware change?

Using a bootable disc did not work. It seems I need a feature called Universal Restore. I’m not sure how to use/get this feature, or if it’s even possible.

I’d be willing to purchase a different version of Acronis, if it meant I could restore my backup file.
