Initially backed up my PC many months ago and see the backup screen showing everything is fine with ticks against files, but just noticed that two folders on my pc have not been backed up to the drive (its set to continuous backup) created a test folder and file on my pC and that does not appear when i access the drive. Although in the backup tab is shows i have created a file and also shows that it has been added to the WD drive? When i go through the retrieve process i can sees the new folders so i think they are actually on the drive, but not there when i access the WD drive from my PC or using remote access from other devices?
Either the folder is copied as hidden, or smartware copied the folders to a different share.
Yes thanks. I’m not really sure how or when it happened but my original backup that I have always used is there but is not being updated and a full new backup called smart ware has made a second backup which is active and is backing up my files. I think I need to delete the original one
