Access over network

We have replaced our router (new ISP) and have found that we no longer had access to the WD device through our PC. I have the admin account and I can’t even open the drive to see the ‘shares’ anymore (I could before and I think I have been able to do that previously with this router). Each time I open it, I am asked for my network credentials. It then gives me an error message saying xxxxxx is not accessible. You might not have permission… It then goes on to mention ‘Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user…’ 'Disconnect all previous connections to the server of shard resource and try again. However, the drive works exactly as expected for my wife on the same PC with a different log in.
I have removed the credentials in the credentials manager and tried resetting the network. Does anyone have any bright ideas please?
