this is why FLAC beats all formats-
it’s FREE and it’s lossless.
if everyone would just rip cd’s and encode to FLAC you can then transcode it into any format thereafter that plays on your DMP device.
or just play the flac directly, which the fuze can.

That’s only half true. It beats all LOSSLESS formats, but it can’t be compared to LOSSY formats because that’s a different way of doing things. I prefer Ogg Vorbis for the Lossy side of things.
AAC (aac,m4a,m4b) needs to be added asap, why? now that people can buy DRM free AAC tracks from itunes, they can simply ditch their ipod and go to a sansa

Sansa positions their players as ‘value’ products. Adding the AAC license would make Sansa players cost more.
Also, if your goal is to have people purchase tracks through iTunes, you probably want to be able to manage your Sansa player through iTunes as well. Also not going to happen.
