I just got my 500gb My Passport drive an hour ago. I plugged it in and used the Acronis True Image WD Edition to format it to FAT32. Now, it will not show up on my desktop, ps3, or laptop. Does anyone know what I did wrong or how I screwed up? I followed the directions here http://wdc.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/3744/session/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xMzU4OTgxMzgyL3NpZC9NN25TRjJobA%3D%3D exactly and it’s somehow messed up.
You should try reformatting the drive again
not sure what step was missed but something was not properly done
