32GB micro SD HC - can't erase in camera or on my mac

Just got the 32GB micro SD HC yesterday for use in a Bushell Trophy Camera.  Testing it gave me 181 images and it stopped.  I tried to format in the camera and it still said there were 181 images. I used a cable from the camera and a SanDisk SDDR-113 MicroMate to connect to my Mac.  In both cases I was able to see the images but when I deleted the files and the put the card back in the camera all 181 were still there. The same when I put the card back in the Mac - all 181 were stil there.
