3 Month Old Sansa Fuze Not Recognized by Computer **I found the problem**

Hi everyone, I’ve been lurking on this board for a couple of hours cause the computer wasn’t recognizing my dad’s player all of a sudden. Then I remembered my sister bought me an 8GB Sansa Fuze for Christmas that I still had not opened. I used that new cable to connect my dad’s player to the computer and the computer immediately recognized it. I hope my dad calls SanDisk tomorrow and rips them a new one cause after hours of goggling I never saw one post from SanDisk mentioning this cable might be defective.

I have Sansa cables all over the place, OEM, Maximo, and there are others like this one.  The Maximo ones have a lifetime warranty, very nice.  Spare cables are also available here from SanDisk.

Between a device issue, and a cable issue, I must admit that with these cables, I have had no problems.  I can understand how easy it would be to assume that the cable is OK.

Stay away from bargain cables, as it’s only a little more to purchase a reputable cable with a lifetime warranty.
