I bought a Yottamaster Enclosure hoping to disassemble some 8TB FW800 GRaid drives I’ve had sitting in a box for nearly 4 years and loading them into the new enclosure… but I have a question.
Does disconnecting the 2 4TB drives from the board in the Ext HDD Enclosure harm the the drives, assuming everything is disconnected from mains power etc.? If in theory I wanted to load them back into the original Ext HDD enclosure does it matter which drive is connected to which SATA cable or are they interchangeable?
