127mo dectected instead of 500go?

Hello WD community,

I had this WDBBEP0010 ( no problem with other Mypassport and Lacie external hard drives) with which i have utilization problems :

  1. cannot be detected by the computer - solved thanks to the forum

  2. 127mo dectected instead of 500go ?

I already try to format it, but it remains the same.

Hope someone can give me some help about this issue ?

It might be a bios limitation.

Make sure to update the firmware of your motherboard.

Also, what OS are you running?

I am using window, sorry i am not a big IT genius, I just reinstalled the driver, but it remains the same?

Is there another solution ? thanks!
