Question about the 8GB Ultra II card and the MicroMate.

I recently purchased an 8GB Ultra II wich can with a MicroMate adapter.  Before I go through all the hassle of finding out the hard way I thought I ask here first.  Is it possible to use the card and adapter to create a bootable USB drive?  If not is another product you suggest for this?

A simple Google search of 'bootable USB' came up with how to do it. 

 

But I am sure SanDisk does not support it, so I would not call them asking how to do it.

While the procedure is well documented on many sites some hardware just won't work for it.  I have been unable to find any information about this particular hardware though.
