The Motorola BR50 battery seems slightly smaller than the clip+ in 2 dimensions, and half the thickness of the Clip+ without the Clip. By increasing the thickness of the Clip+ by less than 50%, they could have a version of the Clip+ with the 710 mah BR50 battery rather than the current battery. Since the current 290 mah battery in the Clip+ gives around 12 hours of play time, a version of the Clip+ with a BR50 battery in it rather than the current battery would give around 29 hours of play time.
