e280 v1 accidentally reformatted. Any fix?

As the title says, I accidentally reformatted my e280 v1 while *attempting* to reformat the external microSD. After it was disconnected, there was a quick message that the device was rebooting. Now it is stuck with the wheel lit, but a black screen. Sort resetting (holding down power buttin for ~10 seconds) did not work, nor did attempting to connect to my PC in recovery mode (Hold on, connect cable while holding REC).

I tried a few Google searches but haven't found a fix yet. Am I screwed or can I fix this?

Replying to add (since I cannot edit my post), the device is now showing up under device management as "Tango Digital Media Platform." However, I cannot find any drivers for the e280, nor do I have any way of installing them as the device doesn't show up in File Explorer.

Do a search here, on Google & the anythingbutipod forum for "Blue Ring Of Death".

Here's a couple links to get you started:

Good luck!

Thanks for the reply. I've seen both of those posts and unfortunately the links to download the files needed are dead. I have the PP5022.mi4 and the BL_SD_boardSupportSD.rom, but can't get the drivers since the links are dead.

Might also try the rockbox site.
