My music wont play and everytime i go to turn it off it restarts and i cant shut it off. Now when i turn it on it just has the loading screen where it says "Sandisk" then it restarts. Anyone know how to fix this? i tried doing the recover thing but it wont work it keeps restarting.

Also when i plug it into the computer it wont charge and it just keeps restarting. any help?

Something kinda like that happened to mine. It would just freeze all the time. I just dropped it and it started working right again. I guess this isn't much help...

Tell me you figured out what the problem is! Mine started doing the same thing this moarning it wont do anything...the power button dosent even work to shut it off.... it just keeps restarting to the SANDISK screen every 10 seconds!!!! SanDisk - Sansa e250   11 months old !

Try searching the forums...I believe that there have been a few discussions regarding this problem, but I don't remember what the fix was......

search search and search some more and ive found it........download the firmware updater

Download Sansa Firmware Updater (3MB | Ver. 1.082)

at the end put the e250 in recovery mode and plug it in and it will do the rest....LOL

I didnt know an mp3 player needed updates!!

Gee, it would be nice if there were a recovery mode available, but guess what?  In the latest version of the e280, there is NO recovery mode and NO USB settings.  Nice... NOT!

I'm going to keep using my PDA as my MP3 player after dealing with this nonsense.
