Playing certain wma files I get "SYNCHRONIZE TO CONTINUE YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION" message. How do I sync my music.

Re: SYNCHRONIZE TO CONTINUE YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION

Depends on the "Music Subscription" service you are registered with. For example: if you are registered with Rhapsody, open the program and sign in to your account. Then plug in your device and sync.

Re: SYNCHRONIZE TO CONTINUE YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION

The wierd thing is that the files were a direct rip form a CD.  Any other suggestions.

Thanks

I tried the same thing and got the same results. The thing is I don't think this is a device issue. I thought it was wierd for Rhapsody to ask you to sign in to your account just to sync content ripped from a CD. I can understand if the music was from Rhapsody but it isn't.

Just my 2 cents...

I think that the over zealuous Rhapsody, program thinks that you took that song from their website, but of coarse you know you didn't...   I haven't found a easy solution to that one, other that to re-format, and re transfer...  :smileymad:

Re: SYNCHRONIZE TO CONTINUE YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION

If you're sync'ing your own ripped mp3's from your own CD's, I'd recommend using WMP11 to do that.

Rhapsody only seems to leave playlists and files alone when they don't match up with any playlists you have from their service.  I was having horrible sync problems trying to get "mixed" playlists to sync correctly through Rhapsody.  Everything seems to have calmed down now that my playlists are either Rhapsody-only or Rhapsody-NOT....

Re: SYNCHRONIZE TO CONTINUE YOUR MUSIC SUBSCRIPTION

I have the same problem. I don't subscribe to anything and all my files are MP3. But it comes and goes. Today it was happening and would only play one song then stop. So I took it off of Shuffle and now no problems - it will play every song in the playlist. I think it is a sofware issue and time for the techs to look at the shuffle code.

Ive Synchronized your player with the software that says your the best player, Sansa view...

Ive did everything and then some...

Good Luck with the New Micro SDHC 12GB and 16GB Cards...

I know they will be better than your music players...

But do us all a favor, and stick to the memory and stay away from the Music Players...
