Depends on what size the memory card is. 5 min. refresh time is not unusual for an 8GB player and a 8GB card. Mine (8GB + 16GB card) takes about 8 minutes to refresh the database.
Best format system?
Up to 2 GB = FAT
Over 2GB = FAT32
