I NEVER trust the Auto-Defect setting. It defaults to MTP 99% of the time, and despite SanDisk’s claim that you can now drag & drop in this mode, you’ve found out that this is a ‘conditional’ funtion.
MSC is the only way to go IMO. Unless you need MTP for Rhapsody or something.
