FUZE+ and podcast woes...

I ahve read through some threads ( a lot) and updated my firmware, but am sztill ahving probolems.

I have various podcasts, some from Juice and some I got from youtube traslated to MP3. I tagged them as podcasts in MP3tag and loaded them into various folder based on the different podcasts, but the fuze doesn’t seem to recoginze the folders and just dumps them into a random folder.

Is there a tutorial or sometihig that shows a step-by-step on how to set up podcast folders?

and it navigation on the fuze+ a PITA for everyone or just me? I had a fuze and a clip that I loved, but this thing is hard for me to deal with.

thanks!

A view of folders is only available for files in the Music directory - not for those in the Podcasts directory. Fuze+ organizes titles by the Album ID3 tag which can be set with the  Mp3tag utility to match the name of the folder where the file is stored. I do this routinely with all my files (music+podcast). Hint: Mp3tag has the menu item Convert / Filename-Tag to operate on a selection of files (even all of them); try to read the help on this item.

Since it’s bedtime for me now, I can’t describe this process in detail now - but I’ll be back later.

Thanks Strawbeard. I will play around with that today. If you get time, any extra info would be appreciated.

My beautiful long text got trashed by this forum’s software!!!

Will I ever recover from that?
