The silver faceplate is quite nice actually. I was hoping for it in black, but I’m not unhappy about it. The back is rubberized and feels good. It feels just like my Motorola Krzr if you have ever seen one of those. You can’t really see the fingerprints on the front faceplate unless you really look (on the player that is NOT the screen). The screen picks up and shows fingerprints quite easily, but this is to be expected. Does that help?
