Is it possible while listening to a song, to see how much time has already passed, and how long the
song is in total?
Not on the Clip Zip. This feature has always been incorporated into other Sansa mp3 players, but left out on the Zip.
Despite numerous and repeated requests and criticism from users here and elsewhere, Sandisk has taken the position they know better what users need and want on their music players than the users themselves and have ignored said pleadings.
The only way to get this feature currently on the Zip model is to use the alternative, 3rd-party Rockbox firmware.
