04-06-2012 04:54 PM Some versions do, some don't.
As best I know, what you can do is go to the SanDisk Clip forum at anythingbutipod.com and use the firmware guide there to manually change the letter in the firmware bin file name, which serves as a switch as to firmware options--radio, no radio, high volume, low volume, etc.

04-22-2012 04:25 PM So what's the deal with mine? SHould I RMA it? Take a look at my problem and tell me that this is not a firmware-related issue.

04-22-2012 06:19 PM Please don't change the Subject line of an existing thread when it pertains to a particular firmware version. This could confuse many, many people for years to come!

Re: Sansa Clip+ Firmware Update 01.02.16Options
05-14-2012 01:05 PM I have totally messed up my Sansa Clip+ while trying to install Rockbox. Is there any way to get a fresh new start with original firmware? Sansa Updater does not recognize the player anymore. I have tried to update manually, have copied clppa.bin to the root directory, but after unplugging the USB-cable nothing happens. When the cable is connected, there appears text "Bootloader USB mode". When I disconnect it, it says "file not found" and "Plug USB cable". And when I plug it, nothing happens... and so on.

Re: Sansa Clip+ Firmware Update 01.02.16Options
05-14-2012 01:27 PM Are you sure you have a Clip+? The Clip and Clip+ firmwares are not interchangeable. If you try to install the wrong one, it won't do anything (just as you say happened with yours). Try manually installing the Clip firmware. |
