I made my self a USB Power adapter and when ever I plug in my Sansa Clip 4GB the ring of light/button lights go out. as soon as I unplug the USB cable the lights come back on is this a feature of the Clip or a problem? (it does not really bother me but I just have to ask)
The ring turns off when the display turn-off time is reached (under the Clip’s Settings)–could that explain what is happening for you?
No thats not what is happening with mine I can still see the Display but as soon as I plug in the USB cable the ring/Button LEDS goes out
Odd–but you’ve discovered something that some people want, not having the ring light up!
