Normal use can mean different things to different people. I had one Clip for nine months that I used daily, the clip did get a crack, but never broke on me before I traded it away. My other Clip I had for seven months before I sold it, again, daily use, and the same holds true. It still hasn't broken to this day, I sold it to a co-worker. The replacement they told you about is actually a pack of three, I believe....I would get that rather than get all mad and just go buy something else.....it would certainly be a cost-efficient solution.
