Is there a reason that messages come up in the order oldest date to newest? I have looked for a preference setting to bring up the most recent ones first, but I haven’t found it. It seems inconvenient that when you click on a thread, its messages come up with the oldest one first, and you have to scroll through pages (in some cases) to get to the most recent ones. Probably something I’m missing. Any help would be appreciated.
Try clicking on the number in the “new” column to go to the first new message or the page number [after the subject in square brackets] to go to that page. The >> [after the subject in square brackets] will take you to the last page of really long conversations (those over 90 messages or longer than 9 pages).
go to preferances and under display settings make sure Sort Threads by Newest Message Time is checked.
