Thanks for your answer. I do not want to discuss the pros and cons of MSC vs MTP. I just would like to be able to fully use the Sansa in MSC mode.
Fact is that Windows does recognize the device. The two drives show up in the drive-section of device manager. But in addition I do see to unknown devices in device manager with missing drivers… I am wondering what drivers should be missing? And the two drives do not get a drive letter. And I can not assign one manually.
I did try several ports and rebooted many times… to no avail until now.
