If you reapply the latest firmware (see the firmware upgrade sticky thread in the forum, at the top) and change the .bin firmware file name that you apply to a non-radio version, that should disable your radio. See the thread below for the firmware file name to change to–seemingly, the “S” option will fit your needs.
