I accidentally broke plastic clip on mine and wanted to know how this can be fixed:

If you have the other piece you could try gluing it back. You’d have to ask a hardware store person which glue will bond to the Clip’s particular plastic…

It might be simpler to go to a hardware or grocery or stationery store and buy a small flat clip and glue that to the back. Look at bag clips, binder clips, etc.

Others have found themselves in your circumstances (unfortunately).  The approach typically has been to remove the jagged pieces, etc. and file the plastic down so that you have a flat back, and then glue a new clip-type attachment, such as from an office supply store, onto the back using a super-type glue.  You might try a search at the anythingbutipod.com forum, where people have reported back on this process, and have made clip alternative suggestions.

It might be. You could try it. Many who have had the clip break off just use the player without a clip and keep it in a pocket. Some even break off a functioning clip just to get the player to be more compact.
