this is the error when I try to download protected books:

An error occurred with this operation, please check your device's disk space and connection to the computer, and retry this transfer. 

My device is connected and communicating- I've downloaded non-protected books.  I also know- by looking at storage space available on the device- that there is plenty of room on it.

I changed the usb mode to mtp using the instructions provided by the Danish guy.  I'm downloading books from oneclick digital- accessing library books.  Argggghhhhh!!!!
