Brand New Sansa Clip+ ? ... 1st Step: Remove Protective Strip Covering Screen

Thank you! Were it not for your post I’d still be hanging out in denser world.

It’s a shame that SanDisk doesn’t insert an addendum to their instructions, or, now that they know it causes confusion, to at least place a red dot over the protecive strip. Goodness know how many hours they waste of their customers time.

Another bit of help would be for them to include your instruction at the top on the Retail Support > Ask a question > Submit question FAQ list so as to save others the time of composing a help ticket.

Also, for everyone’s consideration : The URL in the instruction sheet “Having trouble? 1. < www.sandisk.com/clipplus >” displays “404 Component not found” 

These two time-wasters don’t speak well for the commitment to service of their CEO. I suspect SanDisk is having other integrity issues; I sure wouldn’t invest in them.

I’d rename your post, “Important Instuction: 1st: Remove Protective Strip Covering Screen” so that it’s easier to locate among the list of forum topics.
