Sandisk Ultra Plus booting up windows slower?

Hi I have a 128gb Sandisk Ultra Plus and it was running fine for quite a while

But yesterday I updated my windows 7 and when I restarted my computer I noticed that the windows logo that shows when booting up stayed for almost twice as long as it did before. I restarted my computer multiple times and it the results were the same each time.

Hello,

That seems to be a Trim function issue. If you didnt had the SSD on AHCI in the bios, the trim function is not activated and that would make the ssd slower and slower because each time to write some data it needs to delete it from the block first so it takes the double time to write the data on it.

You have to ensure that the trim function is activated.
