Problem is I have a freeze screen sometimes (no mouse anymore, no access to my keyboard, CTRL + ALT + SUPR not working). Only one way is to make a savage reboot.
I tried to install SanDisk SSD Toolkit. I made a bootable USB. When I restart the system, the boot USB detect the SSD. And finally, it detetec the SSD with the upgrade available but when I put YES on the upgrade of the SSD. It is just put a message “Failed to upgrade”
Any solution to avoid the Windows 7 freeze problem with SSD ?
It seems there may be an issue writing to the area where the FW is stored. It would be a long shot but if you have another PC you could try the update from there. If it fails as well the SSD would need to be replaced.
