ssd is not bootable after hp restore

I’ve replaced the hdd of my hp pavilion dv6 with a new sandisk ssd 128 gb and ran the hp restore from a set of 5 dvds.
The os is windows 7.
The restore went fine but at the end after power off the sdd is not bootable.
The disk is actually formatted and I can see the files installed with the restore procedure if i boot from the restore dvd.
I have no clue how to proceed.
Thanks for suggestions.

you cannot restore to a disk that did not have the OS installed. Restore will only work if the OS was previously fully installed. You will need to get OS installation disks or a cloning software and clone your old HDD to the SSD.
