failure issue

My apologies if this is not the correct forum, but I am somewhat desperate.

I have a Dell Venue 11 Pro with a SanDisk SD6SP1M128G1012 vevision X231312 SSD. The system was working fine until two days ago when it would not boot. Diagnostics show no hdd found. Dell wants me to send it back and have it replaced. My question is this: I had performed quite a bit if work in a locally stored app and had not yet performed a daily backup. Can this drive be removed and backed up using some other device?  Thanks!

if the diagnostic shows no HDD found the SSD may be bad. If that is the case you could remove the SSD and send it for data recovery but it is unlikely you would be able to just connect it to another computer and access the data.
